The observation sessions are an audio-visual description of the physical characteristics of the objects to be observed such as the moon, planets, nebulae, stars clusters, galaxies, etc. followed by a practical observation using a professional 400 mm. diameter telescope.
The above activities -except the last- are performed inside of an observatory sheltered from the wind and the cold that sometimes accompany us in the Canary Islands. The observatory is located at 760 meters above sea in a central position on the island -so there's no need to travel at night to remote areas- in the vicinity of the small town of El Paso. The meetings start at 10:00 PM in summer and at 9:00 PM. in winter. The session length is about 2.5 hours. The communication language could be English or Spanish at your choice.
The price is 20€/person with a minimum people of three. We will try to join people with the same language but if we can't meet this minimum -because they are just one or two persons- then the session is dedicated and the total price shall be 60€.
